South Friars Beach is considered by some to be the island’s best beach. I’m not in that camp, don’t get me wrong it is a lovely spot where beautiful sunsets can be observed but not the best beach for me.

South Friars Beach is on the Caribbean sea and is home to a cool little beach bar come basic eatery called Shipwreck.

Watch out for the Anemones (they hurt!) and don’t tread on the coral which is very near to the shore. The best place to get out to snorkel can be found by walking down the beach away from Shipwreck where a sand bar lets you access the reff to snorkel.
