Frigate Bay North has been extensively developed and it lies on the rougher Atlantic coast (windward coast) of the island of St Kitts.

The waters here can certainly be rough and challenging!

A kite surfing school was set up 3 years ago as the cross-shore and onshore winds makes it ideal for beginners. The bay has attracted the huge and ugly Marriott hotel and most of the other Frigate Bay hotel & resort development to date, as well as a selection of restaurants.
